Dr. Mansour Alghamdi is as an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Faculty of Meteorology and Environment, King Abdulaziz University (KAU) Jeddah.
He did his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Environmental Sciences from KAU in 1991 and 1999 respectively. Dr. Mansur received his Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences (Environmental Health) from University of East Anglia, UK in 2007.
He was the Chairman of the Department of Environmental Science, KAU, during the period from September 2009 to August 2013, and currently he is appointed as Vice Dean of Higher Studies and Scientific Research at faculty of Meteorology and Environment. His fields of interest include environmental exposures particularly from air pollution and its relationship to human health in addition to risk assessment and management.
He has published 15 papers in peer reviewed journals and has completed four international projects, two of them as the Principal investigator. Dr. Alghamdi is a member of International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE), and Saudi Society for Environmental Sciences.
