¨      Be ready to act on a moment’s notice.

Upon a Volcano WARNING:

¨      Follow the instructions provided by the emergency personnel of your building.

¨      If advised to evacuate, do so immediately.

If You are Indoors:

¨      Stay indoors and avoid going out.

¨      Close all ventilation devices that bring air from the outside.

¨      Do not run the air conditioning units or fans.

¨      Place damp towels at thresholds and openings.

If You are Outdoors:

¨      Seek shelter in a car or in a building if not to the nearest shelter.

¨      Wear a protective dust mask or a cloth over your nose and mouth and goggles.

¨      Wear eye glasses.

¨      Keep as much of your skin covered as possible.

¨      Listen to the radio for updates, warnings and advice.
